Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteers
are essential to the success of the Countryside High Music Program.

There are many opportunities for you to volunteer throughout the entire year. Students have a wonderful experience, largely because of the volunteer support that we receive. Each time parents participate, they show the students that their effort is worthwhile, encourages students to do their best, and validates what they are doing. Besides, you meet other parents and students.
Best of all -- it's fun!

It may not be said often enough.
We appreciate all that you do!

Concession Volunteers

Serving the customer
Hours you work this year mean big discounts next year! Check your contract for details. (Example - in 2004-05, if you work 75 hours you earn a 25% discount next year! 150 hours means a 50% discount. Subject to change per contact.) To track your hours you may use the Hours Log in EXCEL or Hours Log Chart to record your family's work hours and turn it in on a monthly basis. You can print this and turn it in the orange folder by the black box in the band room or email it to Kelley Wood The balance of your commitment is available at the monthly booster meetings (2nd Tuesday) or contact Carla Reiniger.
All volunteers are required by the Pinellas School Board to complete and turn in a Volunteer Registration Application. Please pick up a copy from the school volunteer office or download from the Pinellas County School volunteer registration site: http://www.pinellas.k12.fl.us/volunteers/Volunteerregistrationform.html. NOTE: Return the completed form to the band room or directly to our Family Hours Coordinator Kelley Wood .
